2020 event has been cancelled
Jordan “Biggie” Steffens – “The King Of The Circus”
On Saturday 30th May 2020 at Rowsley South Station, Australian professional Strongman/Weightlifter Jordan “Biggie” Steffens will be attempting to pull 135 tons of sheer diesel power in the form of our own resident diesel locomotive Class 44 “Penyghent” and be the FIRST Australian to do so.
Jordon has been living for the past 15 years in Australia,and has competed at the highest level of strongman at Giants Live and in weightlifting at World Cup/Oceania Championships events.
He holds the Unofficial World Record Train Pull which he achieved in Australia pulling the “Duke of Edinburgh” steam locomotive with 2 railcarts at a weight of 202 tons.
This is a totally different challenge! Away from home soil and his first event of 2020.
He looks forward to meeting everyone in the UK from train enthusiasts through to lovers of strongman and anyone who wants to see something insane!! Further details and timings will be issued nearer the event.
Peak Rail trains will also be in operation from 11.00am and normal fares and timetable will apply to these dates.
