Peak Rail Santa & Steam Specials

Santa and his Railway Helpers invite you to get Christmas off to a magical start by riding Santa’s festive steam train, through the delightful Derbyshire countryside. Join them on their special train at Peak Rail from Rowsley South Station. As you sit back and enjoy the journey, a variety of professional entertainers will perform for you, Santa and his helpers will make their way through the train and meet everyone at their seat. Santa will have with him a wonderful age suitable gift for all the children. Children will receive a bottle of water and small packet of sweets each, whilst Adults can sit back and enjoy a glass of wine and a mince pie (Dietary requirements can be catered for and bottle of water available upon pre-booked request.)

Due to limited space and safety reasons we can only accommodate the specified number of passengers per table/compartment as stated on the booking. The only exception to this is the Add on Sundry Option for Children aged up to 18 Months sat on a knee, up to a maximum of 2 per Table/Compartment.

Due to limited space on the train, only assistance dogs are allowed on the train.

We regret that due to the historic nature of the carriages, we are unable to accommodate wheelchair users in any other carriages other than the wheelchair accessible space in coach F. Trains will depart in December 2023 on:

Saturdays: 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd
Sundays: 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th
Friday 22nd

At the following times:

10:30, 12:20, 14:10 & 16:00 (The 16:00 service will not run on Sunday 24th)

Tickets are sold by Table. Unfortunately we are unable to sell individual seats.

These include return train journey (lasting around 90 minutes), a wonderful age suitable gift, a bottle of water and small packet of sweets for each child, whilst Adults can sit back and enjoy a glass of wine and a mince pie (Dietary requirements can be catered for and bottle of water available upon pre-booked request).
