Due to the unavailability of Diesel Locomotives 31270 and 37152 services on both days will be top and tailed by Class 44 (D8) and Class 14 (14901).
Peak Rail day rover fares will be as follows:
Senior Citizens £6.50
Children under 3 years (maximum of two per paying adult) FREE
Children 3 – 5 years £2.30
Children 6 – 15 years £4.30
Family Ticket (2 adults and up to 3 Children) £24.00
The Heritage Shunters Trust will be operating brake van rides on both days with the appearance of nine locomotives which include D2853, D2854, 03099, D2139, 07001, 08016, 09001 and PWM654. (All subject to availability).
Guided tours of their shed will be available for anyone using the brake van rides shuttle service. Fares for the brake van rides are £5.00 for a single journey and £12.00 for a day rover. (This fare applies to the Heritage Shunters Trust trains only).
The Derbyshire Dales Narrow Gauge Railway operates a collection of industrial locomotives and rolling stock from “Parkside Station” along a small stretch of track adjacent to the picnic area at Rowsley South Station. The first train departs at approx 11.00am and runs at regular intervals throughout the day.
On presentation of your Peak Rail travel ticket you will be entitled to ONE FREE round trip on the Derbyshire Dales Narrow Gauge Railway. (This is only valid on the date of purchase).
For those customers wishing to have another journey or who have not purchased a Peak Rail travel ticket then the following fares will apply.
