Following the success of last year’s first event, we’re delighted to be working with Peak Rail once again to bring you The 2nd Derbyshire Bus & Beer Running Day.
Join us in 2021 for a chance to travel around Derbyshire and its Real Ale pubs on a selection of heritage buses from the early-60’s to the mid-90’s. Four free bus routes departing from Rowsley South Station approximately every 15 minutes will link Bakewell , Matlock and the surrounding areas giving you the chance to visit 30 real ale pubs en-route and sample a huge selection of real ales from local and national breweries throughout the day.
The routes are:-
154 – Bakewell – Peak Rail – Matlock
183 – Peak Rail – Bakewell – Ashford-in-the-Water – Monsal Head – Little Longstone – Great Longstone – Ashford-in-the-Water – Bakewell – Peak Rail.
184 – Peak Rail – Bakewell – Peak Ales Visitor Centre – Baslow – Calver – Hassop – Bakewell – Peak Rail.
240 – Peak Rail – Matlock – Matlock Bath – Cromford Crossroads – Lea – Crich – Cromford Crossroads – Matlock Bath – Matlock – Peak Rail

Peak Rail trains will also be in operation from 11.00am and normal fares and timetable will apply to these dates.
