The main functions of the Buxton Branch are to support the Peak Railway Association by raising funds, volunteering to support the Peak Rail operations and helping to publicising the Railway.
In 2020 we will be staring work to re-generate our site in Buxton. This site was part of the terminus to the old Midland Railway line. Some of track bed is still in our ownership along with the bridge over Bridge Street. The platform remains but the site has been partly taken over by vegetation. If you would like to get involved and volunteer some time, please join Peak Railway Association.
We have a keen but small Committee so would welcome an approach from anybody with a small amount of time to spare to help us fulfil our objectives and possibly expand our activities.
