Monday 9th December 2019 – Colin Boocock takes a detailed look at over 100 years of the railway workshops
at Eastleigh Works .
Monday 10th February 2020 – Robert Pritchard presents at a Derby Branch for the first time .Starting as the news & feature writer
for Platform 5 publications he is now the editor and he shares his first 10 years with Platform 5 looking at
the many places he visited and the pictures he took ..
Monday 6th April 2020 – Steve Armitage another new presenter for a Derby evening brings a unique
collection of digital restored photographs .looking at a images from the Victorian era to the end of BR steam with a special look at the Midland lines in the Peak area.
The Derby Branch meets at the Alexander Hotel in Derby starting at 8pm there is no charge for attendance but we welcome donations.

The main functions of the Derby Branch are to support the Peak Railway Association by raising funds, volunteering to support the Peak Rail operations and helping to publicising the Railway.
We have a keen but small Committee so would welcome an approach from anybody with a small amount of time to spare to help us fulfil our objectives and possibly expand our activities.
