Easter Special Afternoon Teas on a Steam Train

Special Afternoon teas are now being offered for Easter Sunday March 31st, treat yourself to a lovely afternoon tea on our vintage carriages steam hauled through the Derwent valley.

Our Afternoon Teas consist of a selection of sandwiches followed by a homemade scone with clotted cream, butter and strawberry preserve, strawberries and a selection of mini cakes/desserts all served with a choice of either Yorkshire/Earl Grey Tea or Coffee.

Vegetarian option catered for.

Prices are: £45 for Adult and Senior Citizens. £28 for Children aged 5-15 years. £21 for Children under 5 (Excludes food). Seat reservation price is inclusive of the meal and train fare and a complimentary glass of Prosecco.

    At Peak Rail, due to being a volunteer run organisation which requires us to work flexibly around our ordinary jobs, our working days, hours and the times we are able to respond may differ from that of standard office hours. Please do not worry if we do not respond straight away and rest assured we will get back to you as soon as we can.

    General Notes

    Menu & dietary requirements: All our afternoon tea trains have a fixed menu and food must be pre ordered at least 5 workings days prior to the date of travel. Due to catering constraints, we are unable to offer an alternative to the menu with the exception of a vegetarian option. Please fill out the form above.

    Please note that it is impossible for us to provide an alternative to the fixed menu if we are only advised on the day.

    Dogs: No dogs except assistance dogs are allowed in the dining coach.

    Children: Children must always be supervised and remain seated during the service.

    Cancellations: Cancellation or rearrangement of dates must be made at least a minimum of seven days prior to the Afternoon Tea. No refunds made if less than seven days notice is given.

    Wheelchair access: We regret that owing to historic design of the dining coaches, wheelchair users cannot be accommodated. Please note that passengers with mobility difficulties will need to climb up or down one step. (A ramp is available, please state if required at the time of booking).
