General Notes
Menu & dietary requirements: All our afternoon tea trains have a fixed menu and food must be pre ordered at least 5 workings days prior to the date of travel (please Email food@peakrail.co.uk or telephone: 01629 580381).
To avoid embarrassment on the day, please give details on the booking form if any member of your party has any special dietary requirements or allergies that require a different meal to be provided e.g. vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, no nuts, no red meat, no mushrooms, no shellfish, etc.
Please note that it is impossible for us to provide an alternative to the fixed menu if we are only advised on the day.
Allergies: Note: we take extra care to avoid cross-contamination when preparing allergen free meals, however, preparation is done in an environment where allergenic ingredients are processed, and we do not have an allergen free zone.
Dogs: No dogs except assistance dogs are allowed in the dining coach.
Children: Our dining carriages are designed for adults and we regret that children under 5 years of age cannot be accommodated. Children must always be supervised and remain seated during the service.
Cancellations: If for any reason you are unable to keep your booked reservation and you are not able to give us 7 days cancellation notice then the deposit for the number of people booked will be either debited from your credit/debit card or the cheque will be cashed.
Wheelchair access: We regret that owing to historic design of the dining coaches wheelchairs cannot be accommodated. Please note that passengers with mobility difficulties will need to climb up or down one step. (A ramp is available, please state if required at the time of booking).
