On the weekend of 15th and 16th of July, Peak Rail played host to a fantastic selection of vintage and classic buses.
The Saturday saw our first ever beer and bus running day, and what a success it was. We had several buses running on four routes around the Derbyshire Dales, delivering passengers to 30 odd real pubs and venues. The buses ran like clockwork allowing passengers to not just enjoy the scenery of the Derbyshire Dales, but to hop from one put to another enjoying the craft ales and beers within.
The buses were also out on display on Sunday, at the annual Peak Park Preserved Bus Gathering, where we also had the Party Play Bus for our younger visitor to enjoy.
We’re looking forward to the return of the buses next year.
Next events on the Peak Rail calendar are the Midlands Lotus Owners Rally on the 23rd June and then we have the MX5 Owners Rally on the 21st July.
The trains run on all these days, and don’t forget we have our Kids Go Free days running throughout the summer holidays.
