DIESEL WEEKEND
- 27th & 28th June 2009

Peak Rail are delighted to announce the line-up and arrangements for this diesel weekend. The event will feature newly reliveried 37152, and 47635, 31270, & D8 Penyghent on passenger and freight trains between Matlock Riverside and Rowsley South.





A selection of locomotives from the Heritage Shunters Trust will be used for hauling brake van trains at Rowsley South. The Derbyshire Dales Narrow Gauge Railway will also be operating services on the Narrow Gauge Railway at Rowsley South on both days.

Steam BTU in Action This train will consist of a variety of Peak Rail's operational freight vehicles and will not be available for public use. The times provided are to be used as a guideline to the schedule to be operated by the demonstration freight trains over the weekend.
