A childhood ambition, or maybe just a new found interest in steam engines, either way this is the opportunity you have been looking for to experience the power and atmosphere of one of these magnificently engineered locomotives. From the moment you take the regulator you will feel you have been whisked back in time to the era of steam as you learn how to drive and fire an 0-6-0ST.

Courses operate from January to November and are priced at £115.00 for one hour or £200.00 for two hours. Tuition is on a one to one basis and are available to participants aged 18 - 70 years who are reasonably fit and able bodied. You can either book a specific date or purchase an open gift voucher, making this an ideal birthday/anniversary present. You will also receive a complimentary six month membership to Peak Railway Association.
