17th June 2012 - Peak Park Preserved Bus Gathering

In June 2011 the first visit to Rowsley South Station by approximately 50 elderly single-deck and double-deck buses, all lovingly restored to their original condition, proved such a success that it had to be repeated in 2012.

While the best buses are being judged by expert guests, visitors can re-live the days of conductors and rear entrances when many of the exhibits operate frequent scenic journeys to Bakewell and Chatsworth, plus making connections with Peak Rail trains at Matlock and Darley Dale Stations.

A true day of nostalgia.
